Fund Raising
I am doing fund-raising for my charity. Does Link It complete the entire process, from calling to pledge cards, thank-you letters, etc?
Yes, of course. We will address your needs, ranging from making phone calls to doing total fulfillment for your charity.
How do I know if your callers will understand what my charity does?
They’ll learn about your charity because you’ll have the opportunity to train them, either in person or by conference call or videoconference. Our callers are very professional individuals with great phone voices and communication skills. Day in and day out they are talking to key decision makers within organizations and can hold their own while doing so.
Can I meet my callers before my campaign starts?
At the beginning of the campaign, your account supervisor will meet with you and introduce you to your callers. There is an opportunity to talk with your callers directly and to provide any training and information that you wish. If you would like to meet your callers, you may do so. All of our offices are set up with videoconferencing through Skype if you would like to see them while speaking with them.
Can I choose my callers?
If you have a very specialized need, we will work with you to provide callers that meet your approval for the job you need done.
After someone has given a pledge, do you call them back if the money doesn't come in? Send reminder cards?
Yes, we can do that. We will work with you to determine when callbacks and reminder cards are necessary.
Does the pledge money come into your company or is it sent directly to my company?
If our contract involves our receiving a percentage of a pledge as partial payment for our services, the pledge monies go into a trust account administered by our corporate attorney. When pledge payments clear, we deduct our contractual percentage and forward the balance to you on a mutually agreed-upon schedule. If we are not to receive a percentage of the pledge as payment, then the pledge money goes directly to you.
Do you work on a commission basis or hourly?
We begin with an hourly rate to determine results. After we determine the pledge rate, we can shift to a commission basis. Please note that the law requires us to pay employees at least the minimum wage.
What are the hours you work?
Our regular business hours are 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. But we are flexible and can expand and/or change these hours, depending on your needs and our agreement. Please give us a call to discuss.

Do you call both businesses and consumers?
Depending upon type of fund-raising, we can call consumers as well as businesses.
What about the business-to-consumer Do Not Call Registry?
The National Do Not Call Registry applies to any plan, program, or campaign to sell goods or services through interstate phone calls. This includes telemarketers who solicit consumers, often on behalf of third party sellers. It also includes sellers who provide, offer to provide, or arrange to provide goods or services to consumers in exchange for payment. The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors.
