Sales Campaigns/Direct Telesales

Can your callers sell our products?
In many cases, yes. But if the products require lot of in-depth specialized knowledge, then you’d need to provide training for our staff, as well as a long-term contract. Please contact us to discuss further.

How do we pay for the time your callers use to sell our products?
Usually how we work is a combination of hourly and commission. Callers first work under an hourly contract that enables us to test the project and get an understanding of costs to close a sale. Once callers are trained, we can agree to a combination of hourly payment plus commission when a sale is made. Also, please note that the law requires employees to make at least a minimum wage.

What is a large enough test to know if my sales project is working?
We recommend at least 250 hours to test drive a sales program. That’s because these projects can require as many as half a dozen or more calls to one individual company, not to mention sending information and emails and leaving voice messages. You need a large enough sample size to determine if a sales campaign is a success or not. You don’t want to stop a campaign before it’s had time to prove itself. This only results in you wasting the money you’ve invested.

What can I expect for a closure rate as Link It’s Call Center sells my services/goods?
When we start a sales campaign, we typically do not give an expected closure rate. That’s because it’s impossible to know before our marketing team has carefully tested and evaluated your campaign results to see if we need to change direction. But within the first few days, we will have a very good idea of what your return on investment (ROI) will be for your sales campaign.

Where will the money be deposited if you are taking the order and collecting the money?
If we are to accept orders by credit card, we’ll need to use your credit card account. If we’re collecting money on your behalf, this money can go directly to you unless we’re to receive a commission, in which case the funds will be deposited into a trust account managed by an attorney. Our commission will be deducted, and the money will be forwarded to you. Please contact us and we will discuss what option would work for you.

How much time is needed to train your callers in order to fully sell my products or services?
This is directly relative to how complicated or technical your product is. Training can take from between a day, for an easy to understand product or service, to days or even weeks for more complex or technical products.

Can I meet my callers before my sales campaign starts?
At the beginning of the campaign, your account supervisor will meet with you and introduce you to your callers. There is an opportunity to talk with the callers directly and to provide any training and information that you wish. If you would like to meet your callers, you may do so. All of our offices are set up with videoconferencing through Skype if you would like to see your callers while speaking with them.

Who is going to write and edit and, if necessary, revise my script if it is not working properly?
Link It offers scriptwriting as part of its services. You, your supervisor, and one of our writers will discuss your campaign with you and write phone and email scripts. You then read your script for approval. We offer up to two complete rewrites to get your scripts exactly how you want them to be. You can also write your own script for our callers, in which case you would handle any editing or rewriting.

Can my campaign be set up quickly and easily?
Most services here can be set up and ready to go two weeks from the time we have all the necessary supporting materials (i.e. lists, scripts, portals, payment, etc). If you have a project that requires a quicker start time, please give us a call to discuss your needs. We will try and work with you in every way to develop your campaign and get it up and running ASAP.

What about the business-to-consumer Do Not Call Registry?
The National Do Not Call Registry applies to any plan, program, or campaign to sell goods or services through interstate phone calls. This includes telemarketers who solicit consumers, often on behalf of third party sellers. It also includes sellers who provide, offer to provide, or arrange to provide goods or services to consumers in exchange for payment. The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, or telephone surveyors.
