Wayne McFarland, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer since the founding of Link It Software Corporation in 1996, Wayne brings to Link It more than 35 years of corporate project development, marketing, sales, and product management experience. His work history prior to Link It includes heavy experience in new product introduction and market development encompassing development, testing and implementation of multi-media campaigns, including: direct sales, online marketing, print and broadcast advertising, direct press release campaigns, distributor development, website ranking and website sales. His experience in sales and marketing implementation encompasses development, training and management of sales teams including sales materials and control systems.
Wayne’s accomplished entrepreneurial and sales background includes the founding of a company that was focused on trade show and entertainment presentations for such companies as Harley-Davidson, IBM and Lockheed, and provided event segments for venues ranging from the re-opening of Radio City Music Hall to the re-launch of the Hollywood Sign. Later work included the company being one of a handful of organizations coordinating large product contracts between the major television and radio networks for such firms as American Airlines, Four Seasons Hotels and Princess Cruises. This work also included leading a partnership with the Beach Boys for advertising and branded product development.
Since co-founding Link it, Wayne has been responsible for all marketing, sales, market research, and development. With partners, he secured funding and set company direction. Wayne oversaw development of marketing strategies, sales materials, and video presentations for use worldwide. He is responsible for all sales team and distributor development and strategic partner alliances. Marketing and sales work for Link It’s software products has resulted in thousands of users for its software to firms ranging from small companies to organizations such as Disney, Shell Oil, Lockheed, Northrop, G.E., Gulfstream, Los Alamos Labs, Sony, Sumitomo, and many others. In 2009 Wayne set up the entire marketing structure for the company’s business support and call center division that was migrated from in-house marketing work to contracts with more than 250 clients, including a number of the largest companies in the world in manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
Wayne spearheads the company’s strategic planning efforts, oversees the acquisition of growth capital and capital investments as well as investor relations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, Minnesota.

Gloria McFarland, Ph. D
Shirley Alecock, Chief Financial Officer
Shirley Alecock is Chief Financial Officer for Link It Software and its subsidiary operating units. She joined the company in 2008 and oversees the finance and accounting functions including capital investment and company expansion. Prior to Link It, Shirley spent nearly 20 years with 7-Eleven, the world's largest operator, franchisor and licensor of convenience stores, with more than 39,000 outlets in 16 countries.
She began her career with 7-Eleven as a Field Consultant, advising franchisees as well as managers of corporate-owned stores in maximizing profitability through improved inventory control, merchandising and management. At the time of her departure she was Assistant Controller for one of the company’s divisions and managed an accounting center that serviced over 250 individual stores.
Shirley studied business and accounting at Antelope Valley College and is a Certified Bookkeeper and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Nathan Anderson, Chief Information Officer
Nate Anderson currently serves as Chief Information Officer for Link It Software Corporation. His responsibilities include the management of all aspects of the company’s technology and telecommunications infrastructure and long-term technology strategy, as well as supporting the computing needs of more than 100 employees spread across multiple offices and several states. Prior to joining Link It in 2009, Nate was Director of IT for VeraSun Energy Corp. During his tenure at VeraSun the company grew to be the largest publicly traded ethanol producer in the United States. While at VeraSun he managed the IT infrastructure and staff at the company’s 18 locations.
In a prior role he was Vice President of Information Technology at Capitaline Advisors, LLC, an investment management firm. While there he managed the IT function for Capitaline and several subsidiaries. Nate also assisted with a capital raise for the company’s private funds, which eventually led to a successful Initial Public Offering.
Nate holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering & Technology from South Dakota State University, and a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Dakota State University as well as a number of IT certifications.
In a prior role he was Vice President of Information Technology at Capitaline Advisors, LLC, an investment management firm. While there he managed the IT function for Capitaline and several subsidiaries. Nate also assisted with a capital raise for the company’s private funds, which eventually led to a successful Initial Public Offering.

John Folkerts, Chief Operating Officer
John Folkerts currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Link It Software Corporation and is responsible for all operations across its various lines of business. At Link It Call Center, his team of professional call specialists and management work with each and every client providing the set-up, feedback, support and execution to drive results.
John has more than 20 years of senior management experience, primarily at the C- level, with such companies as American Express Special Teams, Inc., Fishback Financial Corporation and Midwest Card Services. He has been involved with a number of entrepreneurial ventures, both domestically and overseas, throughout his career and has served on a number of business and community boards. John is a sought-after speaker and has presented at technology and management conferences around the world.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from South Dakota State University with a Computer Science emphasis.
